    • Tetranor 5.5% belongs to the group of tetracyclines and acts bacteriostatic against many Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria like Bordetella, Campylobacter, Chlamydia, E. coli, Haemophilus, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella, Rickettsia, Salmonella, Staphylococcus and Streptococcus spp. The action of oxytetracycline is based on the inhibition of bacterial protein synthesis. Oxytetracycline is mainly excreted in the urine, for a small part in bile, and in lactating animals in milk

      • Mode Of Action
        Short acting antibiotic, it is effective against infections caused by micro-organisms sensitive to oxytetracycline, like respiratory infections, dysentery, foot rot, shipping fever, blue comb, gastro-enteritis, urogenital infections, metritis, Respiratory Disease, Mycoplasmosis, Mastitis, Salmonellosis and liver abscesses
      • Dosage
        Large Ruminants & Horses: 1.5 -2.5 ml / 50kg live body weight, 25 ml/ 50 kg live body weight in case of anaplasmosis. Sheep & Goats: 1 - 1.5 ml/ 50 kg live body weight. Pigs: 0.25 -0.5 ml/ 10 kg live body weight. Dogs: 0.5 ml / 10 kg live body weight. Cats: 0.05 ml/ kg live body weight. Fowls: 0.15 -0.25 ml/ kg live body weight
